MICROWAVE

Move and clean work surface underneath.

Clean inner and outer surfaces, including washing parts.

 

OTHER

Empty waste bin. Sterilise and clean with soapy water.

Clean ledges (above doors), doors, light switches and sockets.

Clean shelves, skirting boards, windowsills and frames.

Clean and degrease kitchen sink and drainer(s).

Unblock sink, if blocked or slow running.

Clean tap bases and remove any limescale.

Clean drainer, bowl and cutlery tray(s) in dishwasher.

Clean windows and other glass surfaces.

If applicable, wash and iron net curtain.

Check lights are working with bulbs of the correct wattage.

Wipe surface of radiator and remove any debris from behind.

Remove all food and your electrical items e.g. kettle/toaster/iron.

 

GROUND FLOOR CUPBOARD(S)

If carpeted, vacuum, treat and remove stains and shampoo.

If solid floor, brush, vacuum and mop.

Clean furniture/equipment such as mops and buckets.

If applicable, clean ledges and shelves.

Remove cobwebs, rubbish and wipe walls and skirting board.

Check lights are working with bulbs of the correct wattage.

 

LOUNGE AREA

If carpetted, vacuum, treat and remove stains and shampoo.

If solid floor, brush, vacuum and mop.

Move furniture and clean floor underneath.

Curtains/net curtains. Very important - follow instructions on labels. Wash and iron or dry clean. If in doubt dry clean.

Wipe furniture; remove any stains and then polish.

Remove furniture covers, wash or dry clean and re-cover.

Check and tighten furniture screws with Allen key supplied.

Clean walls and ceilings. Check ceiling corners for cobwebs.

Clean ledges (above doors), doors, shelves and light switches.

Clean skirting boards, window sills and frames.

Clean windows and other glass surfaces.

Wipe radiator and remove any cobwebs and debris from behind.

Clean lampshade. May need wiping and/or use vacuum nozzle.

Check lights are working with bulbs of the correct wattage.

Return furniture to original postions. See inventory photos.
