GROUND FLOOR TOILET (if a separate toilet)

Clean toilet pan/cistern (pipes at rear), remove stains.

Clean toilet seat/lid. Tighten screws on seat/lid if necessary.

Clean base of taps and remove limescale.

Clean sink inside/outside and pipes underneath.

Clean and degrease wall tiles/plastic wall covering.

Remove any mould/stains by treating grout between tiles.

Vacuum and mop floor with sterilising solution.

Clean ledges (above doors), doors and shelves.

Wipe radiator and remove any cobwebs and debris from behind.

Clean mirror(s). Check they are not smeared.

Clean wall cabinet, towel rails, window sills and windows.

Remove cobwebs and wipe skirting board.

Check lights are working with bulb of the correct wattage.

Empty waste bin and clean with sterilising solution.

Clean toilet brush and holder. Replace if stained.

Unblock sink and/or shower trap if blocked or slow running.

Clean extraction unit plastic cover on ceiling/wall.

Toilet roll left for new tenants.

 

SHOWER ROOM(S) AND TOILET

Clean toilet pan/cistern (pipes at rear), remove stains.

Clean toilet seat/lid. Tighten screws on seat/lid if necessary.

Remove limescale from taps and shower head.

Clean bas of taps, sink inside/outside and pipes underneath.

Clean and degrease wall tiles/plastic wall covering.

If applicable, clean or replace mouldy/stained shower curtain.

Remove any mould/stains by treating grout between tiles.

Vacuum and mop floor with sterilising solution.

Clean ledges (above doors), doors and shelves.

Wipe radiator and remove any cobwebs and debris from behind.

Clean mirror(s). Check they are not smeared.

Clean wall cabinet, towel rails, window sills and windows.

Remove cobwebs and wipe skirting board.

Check lights are working with bulb of the correct wattage.

Empty waste bin and clean with sterilising solution.

Clean the toilet brush and holder. Replace if stained.

If applicable, clean and de-grease glass shower screen(s).

Check safety shower mat is clean. Replace if mouldy.

Unblock sink and/or shower trap if blocked or slow running.

Remove, clean/sterilise/descale showerhead and screw back.

Clean extraction unit plastic grid on ceiling/wall.

Toilet roll left for new tenants.
