By law we must check you have a Right to Rent. Normal arrangements:

 

Each student attaches to the Reservation Form we email you, a JPEG copy of a document(s) that proves you have a Right to Rent. This is usually a copy of both of your *passport photo pages.

 

British, Irish and other students who have a right of abode in the UK, or who have been granted settlement or have settled status, including the EUSS, or have no time limit on their permission to stay in the UK, have an unlimited right to rent. We then arrange a date to meet the group face to face, before the start of the tenancy, to check your Right to Rent original document(s).

For overseas students, who have a time limited right to rent and are currently in the UK, you email us a **share code. We check your share code online to confirm you have a Right to Rent during the whole of the tenancy period. We will then verify your documents in person with the rest of the group.

 

If you are an overseas student and you are currently abroad you email us a share code. We check your share code online to confirm you have a Right to Rent during the whole of the tenancy period. We then conduct a further check of you and your original document(s) during a video call arranged by you, shortly after we receive your Reservation Form.
