FIRST FLOOR BEDROOM THREE

Brush, vacuum and mop floor.

Move furniture and clean floor underneath (lift - don't drag).

Empty cupboards, wardrobes and drawers, clean and polish.

Wash mattress protector. Replace if stained/damaged.

Check mattress for stains. Compensation to us, if stained.

Curtains/net curtains. Very important - follow instructions on labels. Wash and iron or dry clean. If in doubt dry clean.

Wipe furniture and desk chairs, including removing any stains.

Tighten furniture screws, particularly bed. Allen key supplied.

Clean walls, ceiling, ledges, doors, light switches and sockets.

Clean shelves, skirting boards, windowsills and frames.

Clean windows and other glass surfaces.

Wipe radiator and remove any cobwebs and debris from behind.

Clean lampshade. May need wiping and/or use vacuum nozzle.

Clean mirror(s). Check they are not smeared.

Empty waste paper bin and clean. No hairs etc. in base.

Check lights are working, including desk lamp with light bulbs of the correct wattage.

Return furniture to original postions. See inventory photos.

Complete tenant repairs. See section in this guide.

Make a note of any damage and/or loss

 

GARDEN(S), SHED AND OTHER EXTERNAL STORAGE

Clean out garden sheds and/or storage and remove refuse.

Remove all refuse from garden areas(s).

Remove/kill weeds on paths, gravel and patios.

If applicable, weed shrub beds.

Prune shrubs/hedges to return the gardens in the same condition and style as at the start of the tenancy. See inventory photos.

 

We may claim damages (compensation) from you for losses suffered by us due to your breach of the terms of your tenancy agreement. For example if, after the checkout, we have to clean the property to the original check-in standard; make good any damage or replace a missing item.
