37.  Data Protection, Communications and Notices

37.1  We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

37.2  We will provide a privacy notice explaining how your personal data is collected, used and shared.

37.3  We may use and share your personal information where reasonably required for managing the tenancy, including with contractors, agents, utility providers, local authorities and prospective tenants or where required by law.

37.4  We may communicate with you electronically (including email or text message) for tenancy management, including arranging repairs, inspections, contractor visits, providing documents and administration. 

37.5  Notices may be served at your last known address (the Property unless notified otherwise). Unless a different period is required by law, a notice is treated as received:

37.5.1 if sent by first class post, on the second working day after posting;
37.5.2 if sent by email, on the next working day after transmission;
37.5.3 if delivered through the letterbox, on the next working day;
37.5.4 if delivered directly to you, on the same day.
A ‘working day’ means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England. This clause does not override any statutory requirements.

37.6  You must notify us promptly of any change to your contact details, including your email or telephone number.

37.7  You must promptly forward to us any correspondence addressed to us delivered to the Property and to notify us without delay of, and provide copies of, any notice, order, proposal or legal proceedings received by you which relates to or affects the Property.
