6. Overseas Guarantors

Overseas guarantors complete, where necessary, using your country equivalents to, for example, a post code. Convert gross annual salary and other annual income to approximate pound sterling.

7. What a Guarantor Referencing Check May Include
Where an application is submitted to a tenant referencing company, the referencing check may include:

a. Income and asset confirmation

b. Home ownership verification

c. Current and previous address verification

d. Identity verification

e. Rent affordability assessment

f. Credit and financial history checks, which may include: County Court Judgment (CCJ) searches; bankruptcy and IVA information; linked or previous address checks; electoral roll presence; existing credit accounts; other publicly available financial information

 

The precise checks undertaken will depend on the referencing company used and the guarantor’s individual circumstances.

Please read our Privacy Notice before submitting your application. The information provided on the Guarantor Application Form will be used for the purposes of assessing your suitability to act as guarantor and for associated tenancy administration, referencing and legal requirements.
