If we wish to remain in occupation for a further academic year, the renewal process is expected to begin from 1 November (insert year). Any new tenancy is intended to commence immediately after the existing tenancy ends (following service of a section 4A notice). Occupation continues without a break.

If we do not confirm our intention to renew and begin the process by 7 November (insert year), we understand that the property may be offered to another group on a first-come, first-served basis. To renew, we will submit a new Reservation Form by 7 November (insert year). Renewal is conditional upon the existing tenacy having been conducted a satisfactory manner and the proposed new tenancy including at least one of the existing full-time student tenants.

 

You will then send two copies of the proposed tenancy agreement to the lead student. We will sign the extended holding deposit agreement for the new tenancy, transfer the holding deposit (one week's rent) and email the signed holding deposit agreement and confirmation of payment. You will countersign and return a scanned copy for our records. Guarantor documents will also be issued and must be returned within 5 days.​ We will sign the new tenancy agreement on or after 1 February (insert year) and return them by 4 February (insert year). Subject to receipt of satisfactory guarantor documents, you will then sign and return one fully executed copy to us.
