RESERVING A HOUSE
To reserve a house your lead student provides, on the form we email to you, the following details:
For each student:
1. Full first, middle and surname
2. Full home address
3. Date of birth
4. Email
5. Mobile
6. Right to rent document(s)
For each student's guarantor
1. Full first and surname
2. Full home address
3. Email
4. Phone

Temporary arrangements - up to and including 5 April 2022 you can submit a scanned or photo copy of your original document e.g. passport photo pages or Biomentric Residence Permit (both sides) via email to us. Together we will arrange a video call and ask you to hold up the original document to the camera to check them against the digital copy you have sent to us.
By law we must check you have a right to rent. Normal arrangements:
a) Each student attaches to the email Reservation Form we send you a JPEG copy of document(s) (see below) that demonstrate you have a right to rent; OR
(b) If you have entered the UK from overseas and have a 'share code', you could decide to give us the code for us to check you on the Government online service. Share codes last for 30 days.
British, UK and Colonies or Irish students who have an unlimited right to rent attach a copy of:
(c) A single document such as your passport photo pages for British Nationals or Irish Nationals with a valid Irish passport; OR
(d) Two documents such as a photo of a photocard driving licence and a UK birth certificate; OR
(e) For example, one of the documents in '(d)' above accompanied by another document e.g. a letter from your university or college which confirms you are accepted on a current course, states the name of the institution and the name and duration of the course;
(f) Most students who have entered the UK from overseas will have a time limited right to rent and you will be able to choose whether you evidence your right to rent by showing us your Biometric Residence Permit or we use the Home Office online service.

NOTE: You show us your original document(s) either in person before the start of your tenancy or under temporary arrangements online via a video call. If we have checked your right to rent on the Government's online service, using your 'share code', we will need to check you via a live video link to confirm you look like the photo in the online service.
