Gas is used for hot water in the sinks and bath, the central heating and one or two showers. The second/third shower is electric.

2) What will be your group's lifestyle? Two long showers each a day? Heating on all day in winter? 

 

3) A cold, long winter may influence your use of the central heating.

5) Follow energy saving tips? Boil a kettle with only as much water as you need?

 

6) Solar panels on our properties will reduce your electricity bills! By how much depends on:

a) The weather. Full sun equals higher generation of electricity 

b) How much electricity you use during day light hours

c) Whether you apply to an electricity utility company for the Smart Export Guarantee, to receive an income from the electricity you generate and do not use

We do not recommend you purchase a third party all inclusive utility package. With solar panels, in a good year, you will save several hundred pounds on your electricity bills. You will not benefit from this if you purchase an all inclusive utility package. They will benefit!
