6. Further Extensions

Any further extension to the Deadline for Agreement must be agreed in writing by both parties.

 

7. Confirmation

By signing this agreement, the Tenants confirm that they:

• consent to the extension of the Deadline for Agreement; and

• consent to the holding deposit being retained and applied in accordance with this agreement.

 

8. Pre-Contract Information and Signing Process

Prior to payment of the holding deposit, the Tenants will normally be provided with a copy of the proposed tenancy agreement for review only. This version is not intended to be signed and does not create a binding agreement. The Landlord expects to issue the tenancy agreements for signature before 1 February 2027. The Tenants agree to review, sign and return the tenancy agreements promptly using tracked post in accordance with Clause 3.

 

To proceed with the reservation, the Tenants must, within 3 days of this agreement being issued, sign and return this Holding Deposit Extension Agreement to the Landlord by email and pay the holding deposit to the bank account details provided b the Landlord. The Landlord will provide a fully executed copy to the Lead Tenant. 

 

9. Lead Tenant Authority

The Tenants confirm that one Tenant will act as the Lead Tenant for the purposes of communication and administration in relation to the holding deposit and related matters. The Lead Tenant is authorised by 

the Tenants to:

• act as the main point of contact with the Landlord regarding the holding deposit and related matters; and

• provide instructions and information on behalf of the Tenants in connection with this agreement.

 

The Landlord shall be entitled to rely on instructions and information provided by the Lead Tenant without further confirmation from the other Tenants.
